Job summary

Road & Rail Services is seeking a hands-on Terminal Manager to oversee daily transloading operations at our Indianapolis terminal. This is not a desk job; you will lead a team, oversee safe and efficient transfer of products between railcars and trucks, and work outdoors as needed.

You should have at least two years of management experience with budgets, expenses, or P&L responsibility, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of management experience with budgets, expenses, or P&L responsibility.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, terminal operations, rail, or transloading.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and assist with physical operational duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily terminal operations.
• Supervise and develop employees.
• Maintain customer service standards; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor productivity and expenses; support P&L goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FRA, DOT and company policies.
