Job summary

Rose International in Tampa, FL is seeking a highly skilled, 100% hands-on Technical Team Lead to join a leading global enterprise. This role blends direct software development with technical leadership, mentoring entry-level engineers, and delivering cloud-based web applications.

Strong Python is essential for initial screening; Java or Node.js is welcome if a Python assessment is passed. Experience with React, PostgreSQL, and Terraform is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong Python proficiency required for initial technical screening; familiarity with Java or Node.js is acceptable with a Python test.
• Experience using AI coding tools to write, troubleshoot, or optimize code.
• Ability to design, build, deploy cloud-based web applications and communicate decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy robust web applications from scratch in a cloud-based environment.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to entry-level engineers.
• Use AI coding assistants to optimize development workflows and build AI-enabled solutions.
• Write clean, scalable code and clearly communicate decisions to stakeholders.
