We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Node.js, Python, AWS, API security, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will lead software development initiatives, design scalable and secure applications, mentor engineering teams, and drive best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance software applications.
• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Ensure API security through authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including complex SQL queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve application performance, and ensure system reliability.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, coding best practices, and secure development processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: Strong hands-on experience with Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Cloud Platform: Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
• API Development & Security: REST APIs, API integrations, authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and secure API design.
• Database: PostgreSQL, SQL, query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
• CI/CD & DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, build and deployment automation, and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Software Architecture: Microservices, distributed systems, scalable backend services, and application integration.
• Technical Leadership: Team mentoring, code reviews, technical decision-making, and hands-on development leadership.
