Job summary

Intone Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a Technical Lead / Application Architect for a 12-month full-time engagement. The role blends hands-on development (approx. 75%) with architecture and leadership (25%), focusing on Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js to deliver scalable, secure enterprise web solutions.

You will drive frontend/backend design, security, and integration, while mentoring developers and ensuring CI/CD, testing, and DevSecOps best practices within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• 7-10 years of enterprise web application development experience.
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead or similar hands-on leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and RxJS.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and BFF architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in web application architecture, security, and enterprise integration.
• Hands-on leadership and solution design capabilities.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, DevOps, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
• Build backend services and APIs using Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, middleware, and BFF architecture.
• Contribute to application architecture and lead technical design, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Design scalable frontend architectures using reusable components, modular design, UI frameworks, responsive design, accessibility, and internationalization.
• Apply strong web security and authentication practices, including SAML, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, session/cookie management, CORS, and OWASP best practices.
• Integrate web applications with enterprise APIs, microservices, cloud services, and backend platforms.
• Leverage AWS cloud services such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing, Docker/Kubernetes, observability, and modern DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture and design reviews, code reviews, technical decision-making, troubleshooting, and mentoring of developers.
• Drive engineering best practices around code quality, security, performance, scalability, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, testing, and code quality.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, architecture, backend, DevSecOps, security, and business teams across complex Agile programs.
