Qualifications

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js backend development.
• Experience designing APIs, services, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficient in AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3.
• Hands-on in React for occasional UI work.
• Solid exposure to DynamoDB and authentication patterns (JWTs/OAuth).
• Nice-to-have: GraphQL, Java, Angular, cross-language migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the technical authority for initiatives and define architecture.
• Create and negotiate service/API contracts with partner teams.
• Develop and review backend services; ensure security, resiliency, and maintainability.
• Guide frontend work when needed and support UI tasks.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to shape scope and priorities.
• Balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership.
