Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Senior Build Engineer for the Starship project. This role focuses on integrating innovative designs into production, ensuring that all components meet rigorous standards for manufacturability.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, combined with a minimum of 5 years' engineering experience. Strong skills in CAD and familiarity with the SpaceX production environment are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems.
• Project experience as a lead or sub-team lead.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with vehicle analysts to ensure hardware meets requirements.
• Develop production procedures for transition to high-rate production.
• Coordinate testing of tooling and systems.
