Qualdoc is seeking an experienced Steel Fabrication Quality Inspector to support quality assurance in a structural steel manufacturing environment. This hands-on role requires inspection of steel products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and industry standards.

You will conduct inspections throughout the fabrication process, maintaining quality records and supporting training initiatives. A strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.5, and AISC standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of structural steel assemblies throughout fabrication.
• Verify compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Document inspection results and identify approved or rejected materials.
