Job summary

RESPEC, an employee-owned engineering firm, invites applications for a Student Engineer (Structural) Intern in Anchorage, AK. This Summer Internship 2027 is a temporary part-time position designed to provide hands-on design experience under mentoring from RESPEC staff.

You’ll work with our multi-discipline team on public and private sector projects. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in civil engineering with strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills;

Qualifications

• Candidate pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Strong time management and ability to deliver accurate work.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design work on engineering projects.
• Perform calculations and simulations.
• Research topics as assigned.
• Assist with field inspections.
