Job summary

Harmons Grocery is seeking a Maintenance/Handyperson to perform a variety of upkeep tasks across Harmons locations in Utah. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical work, flooring, painting, carpentry, and general repairs to keep stores operating smoothly.

The role requires 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license to travel between stores. Regular duties involve customer service, safety compliance, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of maintenance/handyperson experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel between stores.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and floor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Follows established store policies and procedures.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain plumbing repairs including leaks and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain office furniture, fixtures and equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical repairs (switches, lights, plugs).
• Paint and touch up interior and minor exterior areas of stores.
• Conduct minor carpentry (doors, windows, furniture).
• Repair flooring to meet company standards.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Travel between Harmons locations to perform maintenance tasks.
