Job summary

Chandrus Housing Projects in Kochi is seeking a Site Supervisor Fresher to assist the Site Engineer in day-to-day supervision of residential apartment construction.

You will monitor labour, check material quality, maintain site records and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety and adherence to drawings. Fresh graduates with civil qualifications are encouraged to apply, with preference for those from Ernakulam/Kochi and a valid two-wheeler.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or related qualification.
• Freshers or up to 2 years of experience.
• Good understanding of civil construction and building drawings.
• Willingness to work at an active construction site and learn practical methods.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / MS Excel.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
• Candidates from Ernakulam/Kochi and nearby areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Engineer in day-to-day site supervision of apartment construction works.
• Monitor labour activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings and instructions.
• Check quality of materials and workmanship at site.
• Take daily measurements and maintain site records, progress reports and checklists.
• Coordinate with labour contractors and workers for smooth execution of work.
• Monitor daily work progress against the project schedule.
• Assist in checking RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling and other civil works.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to site safety procedures.
• Report site issues, delays, material requirements and quality concerns to the Site Engineer.
• Learn and develop practical knowledge of residential apartment construction and project management.
