Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on Production Manager for a fast-paced metal fabrication facility in West Bend, WI. You will lead daily operations, drive performance, supervise shop personnel, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will manage schedules, labor, and cross‑department coordination among fabrication, welding, machining and assembly teams to meet customer delivery deadlines. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production or shop management experience in metal fabrication

Qualifications

5+ years of production or shop management experience.
Strong background in metal fabrication manufacturing.
Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations across the production floor
Manage production schedules, workflow, and labor resources
Supervise and develop production employees and department leads
Drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance
Coordinate activities between fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly departments
Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule
Partner with leadership to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management initiatives
