Job summary

Perennial Properties in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to maintain Class A communities. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs, while ensuring prompt, high-quality service for residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
• Very strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• EPA certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
• CPO certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various conditions (indoors/outdoors).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests and ensure work meets high standards.
• Prepare apartments for new residents with make-ready repairs and upgrades.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to propose solutions for escalated issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
