Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for our Cherokee County, GA community. The role involves routine maintenance in apartments, common areas, and amenities, plus prep of vacant units for move-ins.

The technician handles electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, painting, appliances, and safety systems. Knowledge of Onesite or Yardi is a plus; supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA I or II, Universal or HVAC certification required.
• CPO certification is a plus and pool maintenance experience required.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, painting, appliances, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Experience with Onesite, Yardi, or other property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs buildings and systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, painting, and pools.
• Complete service requests/work orders within 24 hours as directed by supervisor or property manager.
• Prepare vacant units for turnover, including painting, cleaning, and carpet cleaning.
• Assist in ordering supplies for the property and maintain grounds.
