AMD is seeking a Server Platform Validation Engineer in Austin, TX to join a global team responsible for BKCs across server programs. You will perform hands-on validation, troubleshoot issues in labs, and drive releases on schedule.

You will work with CPU, GPU/accelerator, OS and firmware teams, collaborating across geographies and disciplines. A hands-on engineer who communicates clearly and takes ownership will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with server platform validation and system validation.
• Experience with post-silicon validation and/or platform validation programs.
• Strong understanding of x86 CPU and PC/server architecture.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Validate BKCs across multiple server programs and ensure timely releases.
• Serve as NA technical contact, coordinating with global BKC teams.
• Investigate and resolve system and platform issues reported by engineers.
• Perform hands-on server platform validation in a lab environment.
• Own assigned portions of the BKC release and validation processes.
• Collaborate across system engineering, software, firmware, validation and other disciplines.
