Job summary

UCT is seeking a Production Supervisor in Chandler, AZ to lead manufacturing on the floor. This hands-on role requires 90% of time on the production floor, overseeing all production activities and ensuring delivery and quality objectives across the shift.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in semiconductor capital equipment, strong leadership, and experience with lean/six sigma to drive cost savings and continuous improvement. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and materials is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment.
• Experience with lean and six sigma methodologies is desirable.
• Strong management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP applications; SAP preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervises manufacturing personnel in the assembly area.
• Hires, trains, and develops staff.
• Maintains a current training/skill matrix.
• Oversees all production issues for a work group or shift.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Works with materials, engineering, quality to meet delivery schedules.
• Manages individuals and teams, including performance and scheduling.
• Completes projects including lean and six sigma improvements.
