Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Chandler, AZ, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the assembly area on the production floor, ensuring delivery schedules, quality, and a safe work environment through hands-on leadership.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year supervisory experience in high-tech manufacturing, 2+ years in semiconductor capital equipment, and a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering. Experience with SAP/ERP and lean/six sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry is highly preferred.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in high‑tech manufacturing required.
• Knowledge of lean and six sigma methodologies; certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises manufacturing personnel in the assembly area.
• Hires, trains, and develops staff members.
• Maintains a current training/skill matrix.
• Oversees all production issues for a work group or shift.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Works with materials, engineering, quality and other staff to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Manages performance, scheduling, training and achievement of delivery and quality objectives.
• Completes manufacturing projects including cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives using lean and six sigma.
