Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the Chandler, AZ site. The role is hands-on, with 90% time on the production floor, directing assembly and coordinating with materials, engineering, and quality to meet delivery and quality goals.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year supervisory experience in high-technology manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience in high-technology manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises manufacturing personnel in the assembly area.
• Develops work schedules.
• Hires, trains, and develops staff members.
• Makes sure training/skill matrix is up to date.
• Oversees production issues for a work group or shift.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborates with materials, engineering, quality, and other staff to meet delivery schedules and quality goals.
• Manages individuals and teams, including performance management and training.
• Completes manufacturing-related projects including lean and six sigma initiatives.
