Job summary

Sachse Construction is seeking a Self‑Perform Superintendent to manage safety, quality, schedule, and coordination of self‑performed scopes across projects in the United States. You will supervise self‑perform crews, mentor junior staff, and lead weekly coordination meetings, ensuring compliance with plans and company standards.

Responsibilities include enforcing OSHA safety policies, advancing pre‑task safety planning, monitoring progress, and coordinating with trades to minimize conflicts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• 2+ years as seasoned traveler.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and layouts; proficient with field measurements.
• OSHA 30 hour, CPR/First Aid/AED training; LEED accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Model Sachse Construction’s core values in all activities.
• Enforce safety policies and lead pre-task planning; conduct Toolbox Talks.
• Monitor quality, schedule adherence, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate and sequence subcontractors to minimize interference across trades.
• Lead self-perform crews and plan daily/weekly work activities.
• Prepare constructability reviews and coordinate submittals/shop drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and site logistics planning for productivity.
• Prepare daily reports and manage project documentation.
