Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its self-perform team. The role oversees carpentry, drywall, framing, and interior trades from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure smooth sequencing and high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management or construction supervision, strong scheduling and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or construction supervision experience in carpentry, framing, drywall, or interior build-out work.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of carpentry, framing, drywall installation/finishing, and interior construction sequences.
• Excellent coordination and communication with clients, design teams, and in-house crews.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage in-house carpentry, drywall, framing, and interior trades from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate self-perform scope with subcontracted trades and subcontractors; ensure smooth sequencing and minimal conflicts.
• Monitor and direct self-perform crew activities daily: assign tasks, supervise workmanship, ensure adherence to drawings/specs, and maintain quality control.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets; identify and mitigate risks or delays related to self-perform work.
• Manage logistics for materials, labor, equipment, and site conditions for self-perform scopes.
• Serve as primary field contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors regarding self-perform trades.
