Job summary

SicoSyndicate, the shared services group behind SilencerCo and affiliated brands, is seeking a hands-on security and compliance leader. You will drive policy, governance, and risk across multiple companies while collaborating with our CTO and Senior IT Manager.

The role blends security with systems-focused delivery for a small, agile IT team. You will own risk decisions, coordinate audits, and implement security tooling and IAM across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments, ensuring our defenses

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years in IT with depth in security and compliance.
• Experience with government contracting frameworks (NIST SP 800-171 / CMMC).
• Experience with SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or similar controls.
• Proven track record running projects from kickoff to completion on timelines.
• Strong Windows, Linux, identity management, networking, and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness and ongoing compliance for CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171.
• Support SOC 2 and PCI DSS efforts including evidence collection and audits.
• Own security and infrastructure projects from scoping to risk reporting.
• Administer security tooling: endpoint protection, IAM, SIEM, MFA, logging.
• Run access reviews, security awareness training, phishing simulations, tabletop exercises.
• Write and maintain security policies, procedures, and system security plans.
• Partner with business leaders on risk decisions and vendor reviews.
• Collaborate on IT initiatives beyond security (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, servers, networking).
