Job summary

Community First Solutions in Jamestowne, Ohio, is seeking a compassionate Nursing Leader (RN) to guide a bedside care team. You will mentor, coach, and support nurses and caregivers, modeling hands-on leadership to ensure exceptional, resident-centered care in a post-acute setting.

You will lead by example, promote evidence-based practice, and sustain a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and compassionate care for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and practicing in Ohio
• Experience in long-term/geriatrics preferred
• Knowledge of infection control, OSHA guidelines, and Ohio Department of Health regulations

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and manage resident-driven care plans
• Manage staff assignments and maintain appropriate staffing ratios
• Delegate duties within each team member's scope of practice
• Provide direct leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff (RN, LPN, STNA)
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by Medical Director or Resident physician
• Document following established clinical policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers
• Protect residents' health and safety
• Lead by example and support the team to achieve goals
