Job summary

Talisman is seeking a hands-on engineering professional to support a highly automated manufacturing operation. The role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, reliability, and automation, with time on the production floor addressing equipment issues and driving uptime improvements.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize automated systems, apply structured problem-solving, and lead continuous improvement projects that enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience in manufacturing.
Experience with automated production equipment troubleshooting and process optimization.
Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems, industrial automation, and production tech.
Proven problem-solving using Root Cause Analysis, Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
Strong cross-functional communication and hands-on teamwork on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

Lead investigations into equipment and process issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
Support performance initiatives to improve throughput, yield, reliability, and OEE.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to optimize automated production systems.
Use production data and observations to identify opportunities for improvements.
Provide training and documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
