Job summary

Paylocity seeks a Receiving Material Handling Supervisor to oversee the receiving and material handling operations on site in Roselle, IL. The role leads daily activities, coordinates coverage, and ensures accurate documentation and efficient support for production.

The Supervisor will train employees, delegate tasks, manage paperwork, and operate forklift equipment as needed. Strong English communication and ERP/MRP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years forklift experience (sit-down/stand-up).
• Experience with ERP/MRP and inventory tracking software.
• Ability to read and write English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a team of 8+ in receiving and material handling.
• Delegate tasks and monitor completion; ensure coverage across shifts.
• Manage receiving docs and ensure accurate records.
• Operate forklift (stand-up and/or sit-down) and forklifts with scale.
• Distribute material to machines and organize paperwork for issuing.
• Maintain time/attendance records and attend meetings.
• Identify issues and coordinate next steps with other departments.
