Railserve, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring Rail Switching Technicians to support daily rail switching operations in an industrial rail yard in the United States. This full-time, hands-on role ensures safe movement and switching of railcars to meet customer production schedules.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work outdoors in varying weather. Opportunities for advancement include Crew Leader and Site Leadership positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities safely.
• Strong attendance and dependability required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate locomotives and rail equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform railcar switching and placement according to schedules.
• Interpret train orders, signals, and procedures.
• Inspect locomotives prior to operation.
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Follow company safety rules and operating procedures.
• Complete reports related to delays or incidents.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
