Job summary

PEG Staffing & Recruiting in Columbus, MS is seeking a Quality Supervisor to own the Quality Management System and drive improvements on the factory floor. You will lead PPAPs, audits, and KPI tracking, collaborating across operations to reduce defects and raise the bar on quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in quality/CI in manufacturing, hands-on Lean Six Sigma and SPC experience, and familiarity with ERP and QMS systems. Relocation assistance is available within Columbus, MS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality and/or continuous improvement within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (audit experience a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, capability studies.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with ERP and QMS systems.
• Background working with steel, stainless steel, or aluminum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality documentation and execution: PPAPs, FAIs, capability studies.
• Build and track KPIs that matter (not vanity metrics).
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D.
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
• Manage calibration programs and audit readiness.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and reduce defects.
