A typical Mississippi manufacturing operation seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives, enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), and partner with production teams to raise quality levels.

Six Sigma certification is a plus. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to mentor inspectors and reduce defects while driving continuous improvement. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Knowledge of welding quality standards, including AWS D1.1.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence teams across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the facility's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and internal auditing programs.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Quality Control Inspectors.
• Partner with production leadership to strengthen quality practices and employee training.
• Oversee supplier quality, incoming materials inspections, and corrective action programs.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA to reduce defects and quality costs.
• Analyze quality data, identify improvement opportunities, and drive positive changes throughout the facility.

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives for an established manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who enjoys working directly with production teams, improving processes, and driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
