Alamo Group is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead all QC activities on the production floor for heavy equipment manufacturing. This hands-on role collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, welding, machining, and supply chain to ensure products meet customer specs and quality standards.

The supervisor will oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, drive root-cause investigations, lead internal audits, and champion lean and continuous improvement initiatives while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in quality assurance or quality control.
• Knowledge of Lean processes and ISO 9000 standards; strong audit capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage quality control on the shop floor and establish quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
• Develop and monitor plant quality metrics such as First Pass Yield, Scrap and Rework, Customer Returns, and Internal Defects.
• Lead internal quality audits and support external customer and certification audits.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions through containment, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to improve supplier quality and performance.
