Job summary

Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Supervisor to lead the quality function on the production floor of a heavy equipment manufacturing environment.

You will oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, drive corrective actions, and lead root cause analyses with manufacturing, engineering, welding, machining, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in quality assurance or quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's quality control function; establish and maintain quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
• Develop and monitor plant quality metrics (First Pass Yield, Scrap and Rework, Customer Returns, Internal Defects, Warranty Claims, C oPQ).
• Promote a culture of quality ownership and serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns.
• Lead internal quality audits and support external customer and certification audits.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints and nonconformances; drive corrective and preventive actions.
