Alamo Group's Alamo Industrial seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC function on the shop floor, partnering with manufacturing, engineering, welding, machining, and assembly to ensure products meet customer requirements and engineering specs.

This hands-on role drives root cause investigations, corrective actions, internal and external audits, and continuous improvement while balancing quality with throughput and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably in quality assurance or quality control.
• Experience with ISO 9000 standards and internal audits; knowledge of ERP systems (JDE preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the facility's quality control function; establish and maintain quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
• Develop and monitor plant quality metrics such as First Pass Yield, Scrap and Rework, Customer Returns, Internal Defects, Warranty Claims, Cost of Poor Quality.
• Promote quality ownership and be the primary contact for customer quality concerns.
• Perform hands-on shop floor quality audits of fabrication, CNC machining, welding, finishing, assemblies and testing.
• Lead internal quality audits and support supplier and external certification audits.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions through root cause investigations and containment activities.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to improve supplier quality and performance.
