Job summary

The Quality Control Supervisor at Alamo Group is a hands-on leadership role on the production floor, overseeing incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet engineering specs and quality standards. You will drive corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives while balancing throughput and customer satisfaction across manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience in quality control/assurance.
• Experience with ISO 9000 and internal audits preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality control function on the production floor, establishing testing protocols.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics such as FTY, scrap, and returns.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and lead root-cause investigations.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Lead internal audits and assist with external customer/certification audits.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering.
