Job summary

Alamo Industrial seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the quality control function on the production floor, ensuring products meet engineering specs and customer requirements.

The role partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Welding, Machining, Assembly, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to drive process improvements and maintain ISO 9000 compliant quality management. Expect hands-on leadership and robust quality metrics monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience in quality control.
• Familiar with ISO 9000 and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's quality control function, establishing standards and testing protocols.
• Develop and monitor plant quality metrics (First Pass Yield, Scrap, Customer Returns, Internal Defects, Warranty Claims, Cost of Poor Quality).
• Promote quality ownership and address customer quality concerns.
• Conduct shop floor audits across fabrication, CNC machining, welding, painting, and assembly.
• Lead internal quality audits and support external audits.
