Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on manual software testing experience.
• Demonstrated contribution to a test case library at a real product company.
• Strong bug isolation instincts; distinguish flaky tests, config issues, and real defects.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment (Ubuntu).
• Excellent written communication; bug reports and test plans are your artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Daily manual testing across release candidates, nightly builds, and pre-release branches.
• Audit, update, and extend the test case library; decide coverage vs automation.
• Develop deep product expertise within 90 days and be a trusted reviewer for releases.
• Mentor QA interns; set test plans and review bug reports.
• Define the bug reporting standard with reproducible steps, clear severity, and useful artifacts.
• Partner with Release Engineering on go/no-go decisions.
