Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician at The Fitzroy Chenal in Little Rock, AR. You will prep units, handle work orders, perform general maintenance, and support preventative tasks to keep the property running smoothly and residents comfortable.

You’ll work with a hands-on team, with opportunities to contribute to grounds, amenities, and seasonal projects. This role requires flexibility, safety focus, and a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters.
