Job summary

Family Tree Nursery, Inc. seeks a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our growing facility and grounds. The role requires hands-on work, tool use, and proactive problem solving in a dynamic environment.

You will perform building and equipment upkeep, troubleshoot issues, and operate basic maintenance machinery while staying safety-conscious and organized. This is a full-time on-site position supporting various projects across the property.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of property maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow projects through completion.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Routinely lift, carry, and maneuver items that may exceed 50 pounds.
• Operate equipment and vehicles as needed, including forklifts, skid steers, pallet jacks (training provided).
• Perform general maintenance and repairs to buildings, structures, fixtures, doors, gates, fences, and other property features.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when repairs require specialized expertise.
• Maintain outdoor areas, walkways, workspaces, and surrounding grounds.
