Job summary

The Boldt Company in Sacramento, CA is offering a Project Engineer Intern position to support project teams on the delivery of complex projects and to gain hands-on experience in planning, coordination, and field operations.

You will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to gather and coordinate information, participate in RFIs and submittals, and contribute to safety and sequencing activities under experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program; preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

Responsibilities

• Support project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to assist in delivering projects.
• Assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating information to align work with contract documents.
• Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
• Support RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities
