Job summary

The Boldt Company in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to help deliver complex projects on-site.

You will gather and coordinate information, participate in planning, safety, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination. This internship offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to RFIs, submittals, and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Evidence of strong academic achievement and elected leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to support project delivery.
• Gather, evaluate, and coordinate information per contract documents.
• Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
• Support RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and close-out activities.
