Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Production Assemblers & Press Operators for a contract, on-site role in Ashland City, TN. The position focuses on assembling mechanical components, operating production equipment, and supporting paint system processes in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have basic mechanical skills, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. The job requires standing for long periods on a 2nd shift with start times in the late afternoon or

Qualifications

• Experience assembling components following written work instructions and specs.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in production.
• Basic mechanical skills including measuring and fitting parts.
• Ability to load/unload tanks from paint systems and operate related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to instructions and specs.
• Load and unload tanks from paint systems safely and efficiently.
• Set up and operate production equipment with proper configuration.
• Use manual and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform mechanical assembly including measuring, fitting, and securing parts.
• Operate machines on the assembly line as directed.
• Follow safety, quality, and work standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area for efficiency and safety.
• Lift and move materials up to 50-75 lbs as needed.
• Support continuous production needs on 2nd shift.
