Job summary

A. Stucki Company in Kentucky is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our manufacturing facility. You will supervise production activities, review drawings, ensure quality and safety, and mentor a developing team.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering or related field, 5+ years supervisory experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, and a proven track record of improving efficiency and maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background with understanding of production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings to ensure compliance with prints and specs.
• Measure product features using precision equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Monitor scrap rates, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and develop production personnel to build a strong team.
• Plan and schedule production runs, changeovers and equipment setups.
• Maintain cost-effective production practices while meeting deadlines and quality targets.
• Enforce safety procedures and provide ongoing safety training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
