Job summary

Signarama Fond du Lac is seeking a dependable, hands-on Production & Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is active and varied, including receiving materials, cutting sign panels, assembling signs, packaging, and occasional local deliveries. No sign experience is required—we'll train you.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure. A valid driver's license is required for local pickups and installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, warehousing, shipping/receiving, fabrication, woodworking, automotive or assembly is a plus, but not required.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements are mandatory.
• Dependable, pays attention to details and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving materials and finished products
• Check incoming materials for accuracy and damage
• Package signs and graphics for delivery, pickup or installation
• Perform quality-control checks on completed work
• Organize and stage finished jobs
• Help ensure installation crews have the signs and components they need
• Cut boards, panels and sign substrates
• Assist with sign and component assembly
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Make local deliveries and vendor pickups
• Safely load and transport signs and materials
• Organize tools, materials and supplies
• Keep production, receiving and staging areas clean and organized
• Jump in wherever needed to keep production moving
