Job summary

Signarama Fond du Lac is seeking a dependable, hands-on Production & Shop Assistant to join our team. This role involves moving materials, cutting sign panels, assembling components, and delivering projects on-site in Fond du Lac, WI.

Training is provided if you lack sign experience; reliability and a good work ethic are key. We offer benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• No sign experience? That's okay. We can teach you.
• Attitude, dependability and willingness to learn matter to us.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, warehousing, shipping/receiving, fabrication, woodworking, automotive or assembly is a plus, but not required.
• You must be able to stand and move throughout the workday and lift approx. 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive materials and finished products.
• Check incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
• Package signs and graphics for delivery, pickup or installation.
• Perform quality-control checks on completed work.
• Organize and stage finished jobs.
• Assist with sign and component assembly.
• Use basic hand and power tools.
• Make local deliveries and vendor pickups.
• Safely load and transport signs and materials.
• Keep production, receiving and staging areas clean and organized.

Signarama is looking for a dependable, hands‑on Production & Shop Assistant to join our Fond du Lac team.

This isn't a desk job or a stand-in-one-place-doing-the-same-thing-all-day job. Every day is different.

One hour you might be receiving materials. The next you could be cutting sign panels, helping assemble a sign, packaging a finished project, making a delivery or getting tomorrow's installations staged and ready.

No sign experience? That's okay. We can teach you. We're looking for someone who is dependable, likes to work, pays attention to details and takes pride in doing things right.

What You'll Do

• Shipping and receiving materials and finished products
• Check incoming materials for accuracy and damage
• Package signs and graphics for delivery, pickup or installation
• Perform quality-control checks on completed work
• Organize and stage finished jobs
• Help ensure installation crews have the signs and components they need
• Cut boards, panels and sign substrates
• Assist with sign and component assembly
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Make local deliveries and vendor pickups
• Safely load and transport signs and materials
• Organize tools, materials and supplies
• Keep production, receiving and staging areas clean and organized
• Jump in wherever needed to keep production moving

Experience in manufacturing, construction, warehousing, shipping/receiving, fabrication, woodworking, automotive or assembly is a plus, but not required.

This position includes local deliveries and material pickups. A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements are mandatory.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on position. You must be able to stand and move throughout the workday; bend, reach, push and pull materials; safely lift approximately 50 lbs.; and help handle larger products with other team members.

Compensation: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
