Job summary

Leoforce in Lexington, KY is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations on the plant floor. You will oversee production personnel, including Mold Technicians, drive operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality output while promoting safety and accountability.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing, strong scheduling and Lean expertise, and a track record of engaging teams to reach production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Hands-on leadership in a mold/polymer manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to drive productivity and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, including molding, curing, finishing, and material flow.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor production performance, downtime, scrap, and labor efficiency.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, and Maintenance to maximize production output.
• Ensure equipment and labor resources are utilized efficiently.
