Job summary

Genie Recon. in Springfield, MO is seeking a Production Group Leader to coordinate daily workflow in Disassembly, Preparation & Paint, and Assembly areas.

This senior non-supervisory role focuses on technical guidance, ensuring tools and materials are ready, and maintaining safety standards while supporting onboarding and training. Responsibilities include hands-on tasks, prioritizing work, and communicating status to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Able to read and apply work instructions, process docs, and safety procedures.
• Demonstrated advanced technical experience consistent with Production Technician II or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow within assigned production areas to support efficient and uninterrupted production.
• Ensure tools, materials, and components are available at workstations during production.
• Provide task-level work direction to technicians and support personnel per procedures and safety standards.
• Perform hands-on production tasks in disassembly, preparation & paint, or assembly operations.
• Monitor work quality and process adherence, inspecting in-process or completed work before next step.
• Translate diagnostics and repair strategies into standardized training content with guidance from senior staff.
