Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a Production Lead I to supervise line operations in Romeoville, IL. You will oversee pre-op/tear down, assign personnel, review production issues, ensure safety and quality, and maintain legible records.

Starting pay is $22.15/hr with shift differentials; benefits begin after 90 days. The role requires reading and interpreting technical documents, complying with safety rules, and coordinating with other departments to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production reports.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Leadership and training capabilities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pre-op and tear down; coordinates line setup.
• Reviews production issues and schedules; prevents downtime with other departments.
• Assigns personnel to work stations; provides training and enforces compliance.
• Maintains clear communication with supervisors and line workers.
• Ensures specification compliance and accurate documentation/record keeping.
• Cross-trains across lead areas and maintains safety at all times.
