Maker's Pride in Illinois is seeking a Production Lead I to supervise line setups, coordinate production, and drive continuous improvement on the plant floor. The role requires strong communication and leadership, with a focus on efficiency and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 3–6 months related experience.
• Manufacturing experience and leadership skills preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, and production reports.
• Independent working ability with teamwork flexibility.
• Willingness to work overtime and across shifts.

Responsabilités

• Oversees pre-op and tear down; coordinates lines setup.
• Reviews production issues, schedules, and specs; works with other departments to prevent downtime.
• Leads continuous improvement across the plant.
• Assigns personnel to work stations; provides training and corrective actions.
• Maintains clear documentation, lot tracking, waste control, and data entry.
• Cross-trains in all lead areas related to production and packaging.
