Job summary

GS Millwork in Kentucky is seeking a dependable General Laborer for our production team. You will perform hands-on tasks with an emphasis on safety in an industrial setting, and you should be willing to learn and take direction.

The role involves loading, unloading, material handling, and assisting with inventory and organization of lumber and millwork, while maintaining clean work areas and supporting production staff. Experience is not required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Support machine operators and production staff with material handling and setup.
• Sort, stack, and organize lumber, millwork components, and finished goods.
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and grounds.
• Assist with inventory counts and material organization.
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
