Job summary

RAD Engineered Wood Products is seeking a General Laborer to support production across departments and perform tasks in a safe, efficient manner following SOPs and quality standards.

You will feed components on conveyors, inspect for defects, transfer products between stations, operate saws and other equipment, and complete daily quality checklists. Commitment to safety, attendance, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Demonstrates consistent production metrics for volume, quality and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and daily production goals by carrying out tasks safely and efficiently.
• Feeding components down the conveyor and inspecting for defects.
• Transferring products between stations safely.
• Operate equipment such as trim saw, rip saw, end-matcher, glue table, and tilt hoist as assigned.
• Participate in quality documentation, daily pre-shift and end-of-shift checklists.
• Adhere to safety policies and housekeeping requirements.
• Assist in maintaining continuous operation with other departments to meet production schedules.
• Observe operations to identify problems or opportunities for improvement.
• May perform equipment set-up, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to drive a forklift safely and complete company training.
