Crayola in Easton, PA is seeking a Product Engineering Internship for Lafayette College students to design, prototype, test, and improve mechanical and electrical components used in Crayola products. You will gain hands-on experience under senior engineers in a fast-paced development environment.

You will work on CAD modeling, prototyping, testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to learn embedded systems coding (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32) while

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at Lafayette College.
• Basic CAD proficiency for creating or updating models and drawings.
• Foundational circuit design and electronics understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team collaboration.
• Basic embedded systems coding (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32).

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical and electrical design by creating or updating CAD models and drawings.
• Support prototyping, testing, and assembly of components.
• Execute product testing and data collection under engineer guidance.
• Analyze test data and help document findings.
• Update BOMs and prepare test reports for cross-functional reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines during design reviews.
