Job summary

Turn 14 Powersports is seeking a Product Design and Engineering Manager to lead a small engineering team and drive new product development from concept through production. You will hands-on contribute to design, testing, and prototyping while coordinating with brand, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

The role requires 7–10 years in mechanical engineering with strong SolidWorks skills, and a track record of delivering production-ready designs through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in mechanical engineering, product design, manufacturing engineering, or product development.
• Hands-on prototype development using 3D printing, CNC machining, fabrication, or related methods.
• Experience leading engineering projects and/or engineering personnel.
• Advanced SolidWorks experience with primary design and engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Department by directing, developing, coaching staff, and managing priorities.
• Lead the engineering portion of new product development from concept through production.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in complex engineering projects, approving designs, drawings, and BOMs.
• Develop and oversee product testing and validation plans for performance, safety, quality, and durability.
• Oversee Innovation Center operations, equipment, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Provide engineering support for existing product lines and supplier changes.
• Collaborate with Brand Management, Sourcing, Quality, Marketing, Sales to prioritize projects and support launches.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, revision controls, and documentation.
