Job summary

Lamb Weston, located at our American Falls facility just outside Pocatello, seeks a Quality Technician to perform QA checks on potato products and ensure specifications are met. You will place defective products on hold, resolve defects, and communicate results to other departments.

This role involves data entry, physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, and possible weekend or shift work in wet, humid conditions.

Qualifications

• Must perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, averages, and percentages.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Able to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Weekend and/or shift work as needed; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products for defects including length, color, solids, weight, and texture.
• Record information from all samples and ensure accurate data entry into the computer.
• Inform Team Lead when product is not within specification.
• Follow safety rules and posted procedures; work in wet, humid environments and around moving equipment.
