Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work directly with production personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills across various levels of the organization.
• Preference for 2+ years in a manufacturing or process technician role, ideally in metal forming or similar environments.
• Prefer basic understanding of metallurgy, mechanical properties, and manufacturing automation.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Associate degree or technical certification, engineering technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support to production teams by troubleshooting equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
• Assist Process Engineers in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives, documenting findings and supporting workshop activities.
• Monitor and maintain tooling performance, identify wear patterns, and assist in corrective actions to extend tool life and reduce costs.
• Support development and maintenance of SOPs by contributing technical insights from frontline experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to execute manufacturing projects, ensuring standards and timelines are met.
• Promote and uphold safety and environmental compliance in daily operations.
• Assist in installation, calibration, and validation of production equipment and process controls to improve reliability and productivity.
• Provide input on equipment upgrades and purchases based on practical experience and needs.
